EDUCATION


Our department, Chungnam National University-Biomedical Engineering(CNU-BME) is educating  its students who will be able to use skills, tools and techniques of modern biomedical engineering technology; have an in depth knowledge and understanding of the principles and recent trends of biomedical engineering; have an ability to apply design processes creatively to problems even having interdisciplinary features;  have an ability to identify, locate, obtain and evaluate required data in their investigations by way of designing and conducting observations, modelling, simulation, or experiments; have a knowledge of the ethical, environmental and commercial constraints on engineering practice together with an understanding of applicable methods and techniques in interdisciplinary and complex engineering problems; have an innovative ability to formulate and solve incompletely defined engineering problems in their area of expertise; have successful careers in the academic environment, industrial and government organizations; function and communicate effectively as leader of a team that may be composed of different disciplines and demonstrate awareness of project management and business as well as the impact of engineering solutions in a societal and environmental context and make a contribution to global science and generating information that is beneficial for the public through research and projects they carry out in the different fields of Biomedical Engineering during their Master's and Doctoral studies.
